Saphlux Presents Full-Color Technology and Signs Innovation Platform Agreement at 2025 World Display Conference
On November 4th, 2025, the 2025 World Conference on Innovation and Development in the Display Industry was held in Chengdu, China. The event aimed to build a global platform for industry exchange and collaboration, while advancing the development of the local display industry. Dr. Song Jie, Vice President of Technology at Saphlux, was invited to attend.
During the “Micro-LED Thematic Presentation” session, Dr. Song delivered a keynote titled “Micro-LED Microdisplays: Enabling the Era of Full-Color AR Glasses.” In his presentation, he highlighted full-color capability, lightweight design, and mass production readiness as the core development directions for AR microdisplays. He introduced Saphlux’s monolithic full-color solution based on its proprietary NPQD® technology, which integrates RGB subpixels on a single blue wafer, delivering high luminous efficiency, compact form factor, and cost advantages. He also outlined the company’s mass production capabilities and the S·ONE smart AR glasses solution.
In the concurrent “Micro-LED Display Technology Promotion and Industry Chain Matchmaking” session, Dr. Song engaged with upstream and downstream partners to discuss technological challenges and application scenarios. The discussions led to cooperation intentions in areas including AR terminal mass production collaboration and supply chain coordination.
At the conclusion of the event, Saphlux signed a project cooperation agreement with the “SID China Display Technology Innovation Service Platform.” The platform integrates market, technology, and capital resources to accelerate the commercialization of advanced display technologies. The signing marks Saphlux’s formal participation in the global display innovation network and represents a further step toward advancing the deployment of full-color Micro-LED technology and jointly establishing industry standards.
