Saphlux’s ability to deliver products at scale is supported by the full-scale operation of its Xi’an production base. Saphlux and its partners jointly invested in the facility, integrating Saphlux’s own production lines with its partners’ advanced silicon photonics integration technology and innovation platform resources to establish a collaborative manufacturing system. The two parties have invested nearly RMB 1 billion in total, building a 4,000-square-meter ISO Class 5 cleanroom equipped with more than 200 sets of semiconductor processing equipment. The facility has an annual production capacity of more than one million 0.13-inch displays and is capable of providing a stable, large-scale supply of silicon-based μLED monochrome microdisplays. This capacity enables Saphlux to meet downstream customers’ high-volume order requirements and accelerate the commercialization of AR hardware products.
Quality is the foundation of mass production for advanced technology products. Saphlux has implemented standardized, regulated, and systematic internal management practices and established a comprehensive production-line management system. Following mass-production factory standards, the company applies quality control throughout the entire production process to meet the stringent requirements of large-scale commercial applications. Saphlux has obtained ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certifications. From process control and in-process inspection to finished-product validation, rigorous quality checks are implemented at every stage to continuously provide customers with highly consistent and reliable microdisplay devices and module products.
At CIOE 2026, Saphlux demonstrated its technological capabilities through its mass-production achievements, establishing a complete industry chain spanning materials, chips, microdisplays, and modules, while showcasing the commercialization achievements of silicon-based μLED technology. Looking ahead, Saphlux will continue to iterate its products, expand production capacity across its manufacturing bases, and deepen collaboration throughout the industry value chain, contributing to the continued development of the new display industry.
